French striker Olivier Giroud is set to complete a move to AC Milan from European champions Chelsea.
The 36-year-old will subject to a medical, complete a £1.7m on Thursday which will see the Milan giants pay an initial fee of £860,000 (1m Euros) plus another £860,000 in add-ons depending on the player's appearances and the club's qualification to next season's Champions League group stage.
Giroud who joined the Blues from London rivals Arsenal for £18m in January 2018, has scored 39 goals in 119 appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge, winning three major trophies, including the Champions League title in May.
He had last month took up the option to extend his contract by a further 12 months after signing a new one year deal last summer.
He joins former teammate Fikayo Tomori, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Serie A club before signing permanently for £25m in moving to the San Siro.
