Trump Warns Israel Against Renewed Bombings as Iran Denies Truce Breach

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Israel against launching further strikes on Iran, calling any such action a "major violation" of the ceasefire agreement he brokered between the two countries.

Trump issued the warning after Israel ordered what it described as "powerful strikes" on Iran, citing a breach of the truce agreement by Tehran just two hours after it took effect. Iran, however, denies violating the ceasefire.

Tensions escalated overnight as both countries exchanged fire. In Iran, residents in Tehran said they experienced one of the "heaviest" barrages of Israeli attacks. Local officials say nine people were killed in the north of the country.

Meanwhile, in southern Israel, four people were killed in Beersheba after a building sheltering residents was hit. Rescue teams described the scene as devastating.

Iran has warned that "any further aggression will be met with a decisive, firm, and timely response."

As pressure mounts, observers fear the fragile ceasefire could collapse entirely, sparking a wider regional conflict.
