Enyimba FC of Aba have announced the appointment of Yemi Olarenwaju as head coach.
He takes over until the end of the season following Finidi George’s departure to join the Super Eagles.
Until his latest appointment, Olanrewaju was the club’s assistant coach. He is currently pursuing his UEFA B license.
In a statement on the club’s website, Enyimba praised the departed Finidi as “an invaluable asset to the club during his tenure.”
Finidi joined the Peoples' Elephant in 2021 and led the team to the league title in his second season in charge.
