Gernot Rohr's Super Eagles side face Liberia, Cape Verde and Central Africa Republic in Group C

Super Eagles of Nigeria begin their quest to reach the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with opening games against Liberia and Cape Verde on Friday and Tuesday respectively. Gernot Rohr's side will also play the Central Africa Republic all in Group C of the African qualifiers.

With that in mind, will anything but maximum points from both games be considered a setback on the road to Qatar 2022 World Cup?

Nigeria Info Sports Analyst Chuma Nnoli, while speaking on the Game On show says 'a minimum of four points' will be the right start for Rohr. According to him, Cape Verde are no ordinary opponents after a 3-1 win over giants Cameroon back in March in a friendly game.

Reiterating Chuma's point, Anthony Dimwaka stressed the need to get off to a winning start.

"From your first game, you've got to go out there for the win," he said.
