The campaign office of Senator Barau Jibril, a political opponent of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano has been partially damaged by hoodlums this morning.
The armed hoodlums, numbering about 500, stormed the premises located at Maiduguri road in Kano metropolis and damaged the facility
It took the police intervention to prevent the facility from being razed completely, even though the Police could not confirm any arrest at the scene when contacted.
The hoodlums - confidently moving freely with dangerous weapons in hundreds - however, proceeded to other locations unhurt.
The Policemen have been deployed in some strategic locations within the metropolis as at the time of filing this report.
The latest political crisis in the State was fueled by the federal high court ruling on Tuesday, dismissing the congress of the APC faction loyal to Governor Ganduje.
