The Katsina Police Command says it repelled a terrorist attack at Gago Village in Dutsinma Local Government Area.
About 40 terrorists attacked the village around 1 pm on Friday, shooting sporadically before rustling 50 cows.
A statement issued by the Command’s spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, says the police engaged the assailants in a fierce gun battle and killed one of them.
Others fled with gunshot wounds.
The police displayed the corpse of the terrorist, as well as the recovered cows.
Other displayed items include an AK 47 rifle and five rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.
